Tips to Help You as You Go to Disneyland

Lucky you! Whether you're headed to Disneyland with your family or with friends, you're about to be at one of the happiest places on the entire face of the earth. You'll marvel at what the human brain can imagine.  On top of that, those dreams can be transformed into something absolutely fantastic for people to enjoy. However, there's so much to see that it can also be a bit confusing and daunting. Even deciding on where to stay and how to get to the park can be confusing. Here are some ideas that might help you have a successful trip.

Plan Ahead of Time

Don't forget that thousands of other people from all over the world will be headed to Disneyland on the same days you'll be there. Make your airline reservations right away so that you'll get the best fares and make your hotel reservations early!

Consider staying at one of the hotels right on the park's property or, at least, reserve lodging near the park. Hotels and motels in the area know that most people are coming to Anaheim to go to Disneyland, so they offer shuttle service right to the front entrance. Of course, if you stay at one of the Disneyland hotels, you'll be in walking distance of your destination. When you arrive at the airport, you won't have any trouble getting to your hotel or to the park. There are free shuttles available, or you can take the airport taxi.

At the Park

Be ready to walk a lot! If anybody in your party needs a wheelchair, there are excellent ones you can rent right at the park. It's helpful to reserve a wheelchair before you arrive.

You won't have to walk everywhere, though. The famous monorail is free and will take you to Tomorrow Land and the Disney Park. If anybody in your group is claustrophobic or nervous about riding this amazing form of transportation, help them to realize that the monorail is extremely safe. Although the windows are usually kept closed, they are easily opened. There are workers right at the park to correct any problems, and they do it very quickly.

Do some homework to find out when lines are shorter for the different rides. Although there are many choices of restaurants, it's a good idea for everybody in your group to stay together for meals, otherwise you won't be finished at the same time. For example, on one day everybody will eat pizza and hamburgers or Mexican food can be enjoyed at another time.

The concierge at your hotel, or the front desk attendant, will be happy to arrange for your transportation back to the airport at the end of your stay with a company like Ebmeyer Charter and Tour. And, don't forget that there are taxis available to take you to other attractions in Anaheim. Have a fantastic time at Disneyland!
